Excursion trip in Hanoi
Hanoi is a capital city like no other. It’s a place where the past and present collide, with ancient temples and bustling streets that are filled with life. If you want to get away from it all, Hanoi is the perfect place.
Here are some of my favorite activities:
Hanoi Old Quarter
Hanoi Old Quarter is a place where the city's past and present meet. It's also a symbol of Hanoi's cultural heritage. The name "Hanoi" means "abundant rice field", and this district is famous for its markets selling traditional handicrafts, artworks, souvenirs and food products.
Hoan Kiem Lake is an ideal place for relaxing and watching the sunset over Hoan Kiem Lake with your friends or family members after visiting all historical sites in Hanoi Opera House area such as Quan Thanh Temple (Temple of Supreme Harmony), Dong Xuan Market (East Market), Trung Nu Vuong Street.
Hanoi Opera House
The Hanoi Opera House is a beautiful example of French architecture and one of the most popular tourist attractions in Hanoi. It was built in 1911, as a gift from France to Vietnam during its occupation by French forces. The opera house sits at the center of Hanoi's Old Quarter and near Hoan Kiem Lake, which means "Lake of the Restored Sword" (a legendary lake thought to contain magical powers).
The building itself features ornate details such as chandeliers, marble staircases and intricate mosaics on its ceilings--all signs that this building has been lovingly preserved over time. Today it continues to offer guided tours so visitors can learn more about its history, architecture and cultural significance.
Hoan Kiem Lake
Hoan Kiem Lake is the heart of Hanoi and one of the most popular places in Vietnam. It's located in the center of Old Quarter, which is also known as "Hang Bac" or "Old Quarters", where you can see many historic buildings like Hanoi Opera House.
Hoan Kiem Lake has been an important part of Vietnamese culture for centuries because it is believed that this lake was created by a dragon who was protecting his pearl (or pearl). According to legend, when people threw stones into this lake they would disappear into it forever so no one dared go near it until Dang Trung arrived with his army from Hue during Lý Dynasty (10th century A.D.). He ordered his soldiers throw stones into Hoan Kiem Lake but instead they found out that those stones had been turned into gold! This story became very famous among locals so now many tourists come here just to see what happens when they throw some pebbles into water.
Vietnam Museum of Ethnology
The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is a great place to visit if you're interested in learning more about Vietnam's diverse ethnic groups. It's also an excellent place to get some exercise, as the museum is located on Ngo Van Lich Street, one of Hanoi's most famous walking streets.
The museum itself is free and open daily from 8AM-5PM (closed on Mondays). It takes about 1 hour to go through all four floors of exhibits; however, if you want to see everything in detail it will take much longer than that! We recommend starting with the first floor where you can try out traditional games like chess or checkers before moving up through each successive floor until reaching the top level which houses various objects used by different ethnic groups throughout history such as clothing pieces made out of animal fur or bamboo sticks used during rituals performed by shamans who practice traditional medicine techniques passed down over generations within their family lineages (they usually have their own secret recipes based off ancient medicinal herbs).
You might also find yourself surprised at how similar these practices sound when compared against those performed today within Judaism because many Jews follow similar rites involving purification rituals involving water baptismal ceremonies performed at least once per year during Passover celebrations held annually around Easter weekend every year.
Trang Tien Bridge (Trang An bridge)
Trang Tien Bridge (Trang An bridge) is a cable-stayed bridge in Hanoi, Vietnam. It is built over the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex and was completed in 2010. The bridge spans 1,402 m (4,600 ft), making it the longest cable-stayed bridge in Vietnam.
