St. Mary's Basilica

Located in Shivajinagar, Bangalore, St Mary's Basilica is one of the oldest churches in the state of Karnataka. It is constructed in Gothic style and features stained glass windows and arches. The present church was reconstructed during the years 1856-1882. It was consecrated on September 8, 1882, by 35 priests. It was elevated to minor basilica status by Pope Paul VI in 1973.

Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath
